NDSU has a couple of different urban legends associated with it. Apparantly a guy hung himself from a pipe on third floor in Ceres Hall during WWII when it was a men's dorm. A friend of mine was able to infiltrate the basement and had seemingly direct contact with the spirit mentioned on http://theshadowla...es/northdakota.htm His experience was exactly like what was mentioned. I also thiink I saw it when I was walking back to my dorm late one night. I saw the shape of someone in the top story window. I really don't this was physical person, there was a light on from that window and I think I would have seen the features of an actual person. Also allegedly a janitor found two people dead up in fourth floor Minard in the 1920s. Me and a couple of other friends were able to infiltrate this long abandoned space but had no encounter.

Durham College's Oshawa Campus's 'C' wing was apparently built on the site of a farmhouse where a woman's unsolved murder happened. A young woman would be seen walking down the hall and then she is seen to fall when going around a corner. The person seeing this would run up to help and she would be gone. One of the people who saw that is/was a major skeptic!
Another manifestation would be the lights all suddenly going on full in the lecture theatre with no one near the controls.
My closest encounter was when I was in a lab late at night alone and the terminal two stations down starting clicking like someone was typing on the keyboard. (those keyboards were the noisy ones). The station was turned off and when I went over to the terminal, I had a weird feeling like someone was in there. I packed up my stuff and left.
