i just threw out a decent and still working 8 track reel to reel, with a full reel of 1 inch tape. and a 2 track reel to real... like i said there are also 2 photocopiers there, some system phones, and a professional 120 volt (i think) electronic relay timer. i assume there will be a few more items including wooden rack pedistals (with 19 inch rack rails installed) a ton of old turntables and tape players.. a multi-line phone interface (People Link System) for broadcasting and talk shows. a full scale working drafting table, some old dot matrix printers and stuff.. i'll update.

I would potentially be interested in a good turn table. Also the multi-link phone interface and anything else broadcast related. That is assuming any of it is shipable or you are willing to ship. (of course I'd pay for that)

there are a few *professional* turntables being thrown out... altho it would cost an arm and a leg to ship it. i also dont have many boxes here, nor do i have the time to really ship stuff out as we have been given an ultimadem to clear out our storage room by a certian day (being that we're not paying for it) and i really dont have the time for that.

Many turntables and reel-to-reels are down there now, along with passive monitor switchers and a few telephone devices. alot of metal panels, some in very good condition, and a few 19 inch rack pedistals. along with boxes of cables and coaxial cable.

alot of good stuff... if your into that kind of stuff.

Edit: Oh ! there are also 2 solar panels down there, 12V DC at 1 Amp output. and a strobe powered "On Air" light !!!! call me on my cell for those who know my cell number if you need help finding those items.

I also have a 2 meter marine antenna here that i want for myself, but if someone really needs it i will be willing to sell it.

A working (well, almost everything works in some way or another...) professional audio distortion and testing device.. it does test tones, and square waves and all that good stuff including freq. sweeps...

a Minmus 7 realistic speaker (very retro) in a metal silver enclosure. highly durrable speaker, with not too bad of a sound. (i am pretty sure it still works)

and a Aurotone speaker, for years durring the 70tys they were considered the standard in recording studios worldwide.

there are also several large and small UPS's in various states of repair.

and some professional Sony TCM-5000 portable tape recording machines... new cost = $850 (10 to 15 years ago).

When can I go get these?

a ton of new additions to the garbage pile. including 2 real nice macintosh computers, with professional audio cards and probably licensed programs already still installed. uhm, a master clock controller, very accurate, power supplies, a huge wonking 600 volt transformer... if your into experiments you might want that, there is also a larger 75 KVa (or maybe larger) transformer.

a transmitter panel, and old 2 watt cellular phones... two way radio accessories, and a antique car battery charger from canadian tire. there is also a full broadcast multi-line phone conferencing system.

i know exkalibur is on his way here as i type this, so i don't knwo what will be left afterwards... but hey, whatever, i got some nice photos of exkalibur waste deep in this stuff throwing stuff all over searching for something of interest to him, it was very funny...

You can scratch off the Master Clock Controller, transmitter panel, both cellphones, the 2-way radio stuff, the car charger and a few other goodies.

Speaking of free stuff I am going to be giving Servo two kenwoods. Hes probably gonna need a lot of help getting them setup. When I put up the specs can someone help figure out how to program them etc.

yea, should be no problem, you can get the rib off ebay to program them for about $20, and you list the model, and we can surely find the software to program the radios

Unless something has changed I don't think he's willing to ship. Atleast that's what he told me earlier in this thread. I would also be quite willing to pay for shipping on solar panels if it was possible.

The solar panels were gone the day they were available... they didnt even last a day on the auction block....
