I was perusing my favorite cycle shoppe, when out of no-where, hanging on the wall, was a biopace chainring! I saw the evil in it's glare, as it shined from the distance. But i had the last laugh, the devil was turned into a clock! ha ha! victory over biopace!

The light shines again.

The biopace chainring, unlike your normal round chainring, is sort of egg-shaped, which is supposed to help with your pedal stroke somehow. A lot of people just see them as weird/ugly/not really useful.

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO! Not Biosnail! Never again!
Give me a Campy Chorus crank in high polish, but the Biosnail rings were god awful, even the Dura Ace AX set, which at least looked good.
It discouraged a smooth spin, and was otherwise awful.

I got your tour winner right here pussies, at least he'd crash out trying.

I got one of those when they first came out.
Sounded like a great idea.
It wasn't...

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.
