Here's the thing, I have a movie from 1985 with her in it and I didn't like her in that either. (Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins)
Who would've made an interesting Janeway?

Voyager was also one of those series that was in need of more than one or two more strong actors. Janeway doesn't count I think because she tried too hard sometimes. Remember the episode with the creature they pick up from the Nebula and its trying to turn the ship into its native enviorment and Janeway stays behind, that was so over dramatic.

I dunno maybe I like actors who clearly enunciate (Stewart, Brooks, etc.) but Picardo even for his lack of screen time in the early seasons is still my favorite of that series.

Voyager kind of reminded me of those old 50's-60's shows like "Wagon Train"... they just keep wagon training while never getting there. Me, I am a get there, get it over with kinda person.

that's funny, Rodenberry pitched TOS as "wagon train in space".

I like the Chinese girl on the show.

That's the main reason why I like the show.

Gene Roddenberry is turning over in his grave for me. I found that the lack of extras roaming around the ship fucked up the atmosphere. It felt throughout the entire series there was nothing but the 7 main members on the whole ship.

It's a shame Paramount had to end on such a poor series. If any of you saw the recent William Shatner hosted documentary, he stated that it sucked and that Paramount is now finished with Star Trek any there wont be any new series.
