It's an ok game. Great graphics and great engine. Just sort of disappointing... The multiplayer is ok but it gets boring pretty quickly. CS: S is incomplete, few maps, 2 models. I don't know if this is going to be the next "HL 2".

Wait until DoD: Source comes out.. kick-ass.

HL2 is ok. I'm kind of disapointed... I really can't see how this took them 5 years to create. Fucking Valve.

source kinda blows.. Although I've never enjoyed CS ever.. but as far as DoD they broke the game.. the screwed with the and jacked up the speed and messed with it too much where they made it a game thats hardly enjoyable.. Now the original DoD on the HL engine still rocks

I never really got into DoD. The "realistic" (read: bullshit) weapons recoil system turned me right off. I've fired a few guns in my time, and watched people fire many others. Real recoil doesn't have you pointing at the sky after 3-4 shots; nor does it require you to yank the barrel of your weapon downward during every shot to keep it from flying straight up in the air...

garry's mod FTW. I'm currently entrenched in a long and drawn out wooden war. We build vehicles (tanks, planes and boats) out of all the breakable wooden objects and for propane tanks and melons as ammo. check out our forums.
