	My mom is finally offering this deal to me that I pay half of (almost)any laptop I want that is under $1600 dollars and she will pay the rest. I have a few in mind but I am wondering if you guys have any suggestions? Help is greatly appreciated.

	What will you be doing with it mostly? I recommand IBM (not as great for gaming but solid and reliable) or Toshiba.

Um, ~~mostly~~ some schoolwork, a little bit of gaming, music, and movies.

I heartily disaggree. The brand new ones DO have tendencies to suck but the refurbs are litterally bulletproof.

	I ran a pavillion for 3 years with no troubles but 2 HP scanners went tits up in less than 6 months.

	I still haven't decided on a laptop but i was thinking more towards a tablet PC. I have been looking at a Toshiba Tablet PC, for internet browsing, music, movies, and IM. Any suggestions? My parents still say they'll match whatever I put down, but I don't have much of a budget to start with. I've been looking at this one, but if there is anyway you can customize them that would be cool.

I love the Toshiba tablet PCs and would love one for the sheer mobility. You can'T comfortably walk around with a laptop open and running in your arms while writing/reading to/from it

To answer your question, you can only customize the R10, not the R15.
