For those of you interested, Anarchy Online is offering 1 year free gameplay if you download the client and register an account before January 15th. Anarchy Online is a MMORPG like Everquest, but with a sci-fi theme to it.

Yikes... that's pretty messed up. I can only suggest you mess around with the video settings prior to loading the game.

Yeah, I got it all worked out, got on land, and was killed by a snake(couldn't find the gun). Oh well. Maybe next weekend I'll be on. During the week I'm going to very busy with school and homework.

Nope - you don't need to enter any pay information at all, which is pretty cool. I've been playing for about 3 weeks now, and really enjoying it. If you do join up, let me know what your character name is. Join the clans on the Atlantean server, and we can start our own UER organization in the game!

What type of character are you playing? Are you already with some people here?

I am guessing AO has the typical "Tank, dmg dealer/ranged attack, healer" type of setup.

I'm playing a Martial Artist by the name of Atomstrange. I do have a couple of friends in the game that I try to play with regularly - one's a Metaphysicist, one's an Enforcer. There's around a dozen or so classes to choose from, and they all offer a wide variety of advantages and disadvantages. There are traders, fixers, doctors, agents, enforcers, soldiers, all sorts...

When you get into the game, send a /tell command to Atomstrange, and I'll get your message when I log in.

Im probably playing all nite tonite, my in game name is Skarrer, i chose an agent. If we play often and we have trouble finding a healer, ill make a doctor, but tryin an agent for now. Hope this is good cuz sci-fi is my favorite RPG setting. Cya there =)

Well i got a 13 agent now, unupgraded implant wise because im not sure what effect itll have on my char and if its permanent or what =)

Anyone else plannin to play here? This is actually fun, more so than any of the 3 MMORPGs ive played yet. Im biased because i like sci-fi, but compared to say, Star wars galaxies which was designed to make you run for 15minutes to get to a mission, this is looking good. Tons of different items, i havent played alot but at a quick glance, its interesting, and ive done no PVP yet. If im going to enjoy it once i really sink my teeth in and see if theres any depth in it, thats another story.

Im not playing at launch so yes this game has that going for it =)

Well if any of you get online, you can msg my agent skarrer or enforcer kraak, and say hello. Kraak is most likely going to get dusty when i start a Doc, because i dont see much of em around and i enjoy being one.

stay neutral! an empty implant does nothing at all, and its not permament. You neeed you go to a surgery clinic to put them on or take them off. My main (Shockdoc lvl 69 doc)is neutral and im in an org (PC Raiders). my other character is clan, and it sucks, you cant go to any omni cities.
