Ive been looking longingly at my friends G4 Lombardo laptop. I was playing with it today and thought I want one. I checked eBay but couldnt find anything I rally liked that was in my price range. So if anyone has an old Mac laptop they are willing to stick up for sale, PM me or post. I would like it to be atleast 300mHz or faster and able to run atleast OS 9. Im getting a nice IBM laptop in june if all goes well with the seller for $300 and boy is it a nice one and Id like to have a nice mac to accompany it. So if anyone has an old Mac laptop they dont want I would like to see it if possible. Im new to macs so I dont wanna go spend a whole lot on a laptop I probably wont use that much, hell Im not going to spend ithat kind of money on a lapper I would use every day. All my computers were free or cheap, an I want it to stay that way

It's a nice laptop, I have a Pismo, which is pretty similar to it, but I am not willing to part with mine, nor is it in perfect working condition. It is Lombard, not Lombardo, and it is a g3, not a g4, although it can be upgraded to one. Why do you want a PC and a Mac laptop?

You don't need a Mac. You don't work with multimedia. Stick to PC Jesus.

Ah, thanks, I said the same thing in my post on Neowin in the NeoBay board I liked it bedeacue things on it ran well and it never had to slow down when I started other things up. I enjoyed my Mac expierence and want to continue with an old one for a bit before I someday decied a brand new Mac would suit me, I need the PC though, so my friends T-23 is right in order.

PC; Dude, I know that. Whole point of my looking for old ones.

You can pick up the first generation iBooks at a reasonable price now if you don't mind having a Mac that ever so slightly resembles a multi-coloured toilet seat. Joking aside, I had one for a while and it never let me down.
