Oh I don't know... if you do something super perfect then everything after will be judged with respect to that and you'll have to top yourself over and over. I say start out slow and slowly build, that way each year with you will get better and better

In seriousness though, what are your talents? If you are a great artist, draw a beautiful picture of her. If you are a pretty good musician, compose a song for her. The key is to pick something you are really good at because, in reality, it's not just the thought that counts

it's very easy, just walk up to her, give her a confident look in the eye, and say "pardon me, but I couldn't help but notice that we weren't having sex right now"


but here's the long and short of it: no matter what the outcome is, you're never going to know unless you just go for it.

Say this:

Hey I got shoes, you got shoes too! We both already have something in common.

Do not use pick up lines
Do not think up a romantic gesture
Do not love her until you are in a serious relationship

The more straight forward and less verbose the way you choose to ask her out, the better. "May I have your number?"

Additionally try to avoid the actual declaration that it is a date. It is much better to say something like "hey I am not busy right now, would you care to join me for coffee" or "Would you like to sit down and talk for a bit."

People put way too much thought into asking out others. Also you said "the girl I love." BAD, BAD, BAD. If someone loves me before I am in a serious relationship with them I, and almost every other person out there, is gone with the blink of an eye. Even if you love her, don't admit it until much later down the road.

"I love you" is not a statement, it is a question. If you say it to early it will not be met with equal sentiment and will ruin any chance of a relationship.
