Well, I finally got my new PC running and the first thing I felt compelled to do was play the new Pirates! game by Sid Meier.

It's a blast, lots of interesting interactions and mini games, a lot of all round good hearted pirate fun....Arrr!

I've always loved pirate stuff and still secretly dream of being a pirate captain so this game is a lovely little escape into fantasy.

Anyone else playing?

Yep! I played this game for a while. I managed to sail with the exact same crew from the beginning of the game to the end. That's about 15-20 years of sailing without ever retiring! Just had to keep the money flowing. My crew was never happy, but they were never angry enough to leave. So it worked well!

Excellent game though, very fun! Lots to do, and very varied gameplay. 10 out of 10! Or some crap...
