I don't know how many of you would be interested, but I was thinking of starting an online RPG using the boards at www.rpol.net It's a nice system with built-in die roller, private messaging and some other gadgets. However, I'm kind of torn as to what kind of system to run. I am actually really jonesing to run a superhero game using the old Advance Marvel Superheros rules. Another option would be a D20 Modern FX game, or perhaps D20 Silver Age Sentinels.

It wouldn't be freeform like some message-board RPGs... it would be to the book, like a tabletop RPG simply in message-board format.

Would anyone be interested in trying this out?

I've done this before, but I've never played the games you're thinking of using. It usually works pretty good as long as everybody can give it the attention it deserves.

I'd play, but I'm outta shape with my RPG skills - haven't played any of the d20 games...Might be fun though.

I might also be willing to run a Cyberpunk cum Cuthulu game if anyone is interested in that...

Sign me up. PM me with the details. It'll be my first time playing and not DMing.

Ever thought of doing something with the Palladium Megaverse? It covers everything, Mechs, superheroes, ninjas, spies, knights, magic, etc.

The other option is using Screen Monkey Lite, but then all the players would have to be on at the same time...
