	I was driving around today and found about half a dozen abandoned homes down along the road that Opium nightclub used to be on. It runs along side the 401. The name of the road escapes me at the moment, but there are some REALLY sketchy looking homes that are 110% abandoned. Check it out maybe.

	There always been a abandon house up by the old theater i think the house had blue siding on it i'm not sure, the name of the road is Champlain Avenue. Why is that whole stretch there abandon now? I've been meaning to take a look at that area for a while now! Rage

If you're referring to the houses on Champlain Avenue, north of the 401 just on the border between Whitby and Oshawa, those houses were bought out by (I think) the MTO so that land can be cleared to make way for a new 401 interchange with Stevenson Road (the Park Road on/off ramps to the immediate east would then be decommissioned). Already a few houses have been victims of arson and general demolition. Here are a few pics from my winter scouting:

	The last of these houses was demolished on June 10th...
