Next week, I will be in Ontario and will somehow meet up with ExKa to reprogram a pair of Motorola HT50 radios I got via a garage sale. I have decided on programming the 2 channels on them to FRS channels, but I am not sure which channels should I use on them. I know Av for every toronto meetup uses Channel 7, but does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have an frs radio now, have it scan a bit and not which channels have activity on them frequently. then you can either select the channels that have activity or the channels that don't for your radio depending on what you want. On top of that the main channels we have used are 1,3,7 and something between 10 and 14.

On top of that, when you meet up with ex, get him to give me a shout.

Conundrum

Around here, there's no continious FRS activity, but a lot of GMRS usage on channel 18.
