| | | Yep, though I'm not allowed to name the TV station here, it's located in the 401 and McCowan area. Getting access to the show library is almost worth taking the job in the first place. Tons of shows are archived. For new shows like CSI or ER and the current primetime faves, we get the latest episodes delivered a day in advance on satellite. It's always fun to spoil the end of CSI for my family members ("then Grissom will look in the secret compartment and find the key")... I hope they eventually do repave McCowan. It's a bumpy ride... Hoggs Hollow, I'm always amazed that bridge stays in place as Hoggs Hollow used to be/still is the quicksandiest swampy area in the GTA next to the Yonge area near Holland Landing. Posted by -=HR=-Rage You work at a TV station...that sounds like a alright job, do you have access to the library of old shows?Do you get to view shows before their aired..etc? Yeah when they grind the road down like that, its because their going to be repaving it, they can only do so much work in one night so what they do is close the road anywhere between 9pm-5am and then they grind it down and re-paint so you guys know where to drive, then later on could be a day could be months later they come back, clean up a little and then resurface the road as much as they can, re-paint the lines and then they re-open the highway before 5am. I'm working at Hogg's Hollow bridge on the 401 right now resurfacing it, when trucks run over the bridge the whole bridge starts to do the wave it feels really weird..lol
