Well, I was hoping that the house in question would be a bit more... grand. Apart from it being the first house built in this neighborhood back in the 50s, it's really nothing special and I wouldn't cry if it got demoed. I spoke to the neighbor in the green house and he spoke bluntly at how bad the house was allowed to decay before the owners "abandoned" it and built a new and modern house on the north end of the property, which faces a totally different street (Range Line Road).

Then I drove by Yummy Donuts to check out the activity going on there. Some kind of initial landscaping work is being done on the property. Not sure if they're gonna demo the building or not at this point...

	The Corbet Cottage...lol yeah the heritage council likes that one. I'll be finding out what's going on with that tonight if anyone wants an update let me know. Otherwise, judging by the paper articles it isn't looking too good. Personally, even if it is the first house in Pickering beach I didn't think there was anything THAT spectacular about it.

	Even in mint condition (if a house is EVER that perfect at all) that place wasn't that special other than it being the first house along that part of the lakeshore. Did you find out anything more??

	Do you know what? I didn't. This month's meeting (which I assumed existed because we had urgent things such as this [they don't usually have summer meetings]), was actually spent helping clean out the archives! LMFAO. I don't know if you've been in South 'Jax along Harwood Ave, oh well, I'm sure you've seen the Town Hall's construction, lol, but they're moving the archives and shit too. I don't know. But it was neat, I saw a shit load of old documents from the 60's! Hell, have you read the article from today's paper about the old post office building? (Just out of curiousity, since I brought up town hall's renovations.)
