Are you fascinated by severe weather? Post severe storms you have seen. Feel free to discuss your stormchasing exploits, pics, videos.

Tornado season is in full swing in the US and Canada.

Storms are cool. I don't really chase them, cause I don't have a car. But getting caught in storms or watching them in a field is pretty awesome.

The coolest storm I've ever experienced was this spring when I was in Florida. I woke up at 6am on the beach to be greeted by tropical storm force wind and rain, along with a good bit of lightning. It was awesome.

Well, we had one hell of a storm here in Dallas yesterday. Knocked over a bunch of Oak trees, damaging winds. The storm had to be about 3 miles high and 25-35 miles wide or so...geezus

We get tornadoes in Ontario but not to the extent or severity of you guys in Tornado Alley. I lived in Dallas for a year. I loved the storms. Never seen anything like it.

They get wicked here too, but 90% of the time you have to go out on to the plains to see any action, storms seem to have a hard time developing over the rocky mountains, and as soon as the mountains end, they get pretty big.

I've always been fascinated with severe weather, living in MN I've had to hide from tornados a few times, and even saw one FORM, rip up a farm field, and then die within 5 minutes, all about 5 miles from where we pulled off the road.

3 years ago my friend and I went chasing a big storm with a bunch of radios (ham, CB, his military one) and a bunch of other equipment hoping to actually see something, but it didnt quite break and we gave up.

Maybe this summer I can get my friends together for another mission or 2
