| | | Yes, I've used it, and every other virtual machine software there is. It's very good, very fast, and they'll soon have 3d acceleration. It can't natively access busses like QEMU can, nor does it have as small a footprint, but it's still very good for a "normal user" (and GSX is VERY good for servers, but, unlike Chainsaw, I am assuming you are thinking about it only for personal use and not web hosting). I have run: Windows (All versions) Dos (All versions, all manufacturers) QNX 6 BeOS MAX 3 Solaris 8, 9, and 10 Every linux I can think of in VMware and in other programs on various occasions. And have never had many problems (With Be, for example, you need to get a display driver and audio driver, for example, but all work, and work well). I have had some issues with kernel-panic-on-initial-boot from random CD images that just refuse to run, but they seem to run fine on newer versions. I have even made a 2-router/firewall/"Download Computer" gateway system out of a 450MHz PC with virtual machine software.
