I really want to buy a PS2, but don't have nearly enough money to buy a new one. I'm thinking of buying a used one on ebay. Once PS3 comes out, every damn yuppy larva in America will be selling their PS2s online, so I'll probably buy it then. Overall, I get about 70$ for Christmas (I have tons of relatives who just give me money), plus allowance (if my parents start paying again, it's 2$ a week), and then birthday money (40$, again thanks to relatives).

If he can afford to build a good gaming computer, he can afford to buy like 8 PS2's.

Sad point as well. My video card just died. While its probably a blessing in disguise, a new 6600GT is going to cost me just over $200. Fuck.

Back on topic, I got my PS2 for free a year ago. Yay for contests. Since then I have bought one game for it. Gran Turismo 3. I'm too cheap to even buy a memory card for it.

I can't tell whether you're talking to me or someone else, but if I had 99 bucks I'd have bought it already, don't you think?

yeah, i was. Wasn't meaning to be rude or offensive. Best way for young children like me is to mow lawns, shovel driveways, save lunch money, or write essays/do hw for other kids (brings in money like no other).
