OK, for all you government conspiracy theorists, can you explain to me what the perfect circle of Electromagnetic Energy is in southern New Mexico? If you look at the NEXRAD site, the ring is changing constantly. It appears to be based on Holloman Air Force Base in southern New Mexico

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

Personally, I think it's a conspiracy that every single conspiracy site has the same design. Dark background, huge multicolored fonts, badly scaled animated gifs, poor spelling, dodgy links to identical sites.... clearly the government is controlling the design of these web pages, keeping them at a level compatible with 1992 technology.

The rings look like they're all centered around weather radar sites, so the ring is actually an artifact of the radar generating the image. If you've ever been on a boat with a radar, you may notice that there's a lot of interferance and circular distortion in the part of the image near the transmitter. The radar has a hard time detecting very close objects, and gets scatter from rigging and tower structures nearby. (more scientific explanation: http://www.weather...owthread.php?t=317)

Here's another explanation for a different type of radar:
http://www.hko.gov...dars/ring_3d_e.htm

When you overlay data from multiple radar sites at different power levels on one map, you might get multiple "rings" centered around each site.

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

what a lot of people dont recognize when looking at these maps is:
your not really looking at a map, your looking at what the radar is painting and telling you it sees (ie; receives)

that info is "drawn" on top of a map that gives you a 2 dimensional birds eye view that you will be able to understand so ground clutter, heat waves other reflective surfaces will trace the outline of the radars sweep, typically a circle

Well, it's a strange form to be sure. I can't say it's a normal radar signature though. Think about it. Why would only one state have it? There are radar installations all over the place.

But it's interesting. One way to test the radar theory would be to have someone at the base tell you if they get a blip if you got in a plane and flew around the boundary of that circle.

What's the conspiracy holmes?
A military base cannot emit EMR?
Is there something odd about the frequency or power of it?
