I just got a replacement for my dell inspiron 1100 P4.
Its a new HP DV1000 Series
Intel Centrino 2.13 Ghz
1 gig DDR SDRAM
100 GB Hard drive
8x dvd burner
2200 BG Integrated wireless LAN
And a remote Control

I'm running Adobe Photoshop and Apprise for my job right now, Is HP a good brand to go with? Post your horror stories if any.

what's the screen res?

I haven't had that much experience with HPs personally . I tend to like there biz stuff, but not there home laptops.

i'm a fan of my T42p though :-p

1280x768 I think. I would have preferred an Acer but the company I worked for said no. Those dicks.
