Yep, the brand new Durham Region headquarters are up and running. The official grand opening was October 20, 2005. Considering the already filled-to-capacity building cost us Durham residents huge tax dollars, I thought I'd go over to the monstrous structure for a look, located right at the SW corner of Rossland Road East and Garden Street in Whitby. I always wondered want it looked like in that circle section of the building...image 19..Thanks Fedge! I did the quality control for the parking lot and parking garage a couple of weeks ago!

I installed the dispensers and such in that building.. They fucked it up big time. Instead of completing the interior of the building from the top down, they worked in reverse.

What a waste of money. Heaven forbid spend some tax payers money on fixing the crumbling schools in the region. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Reminds me of the Durham school board office...giant, underused, and built for rich people with high positions who rule over the modest living shmos.
