Anybody play the tabletop miniature game, Warhammer 40,000, by Games Workshop? Just curious. I been in and out of this rather expensive hobby since high school.

I used to play second edition back in 1995-97. Got destitute and sold my army and didn't play again until 2003 when Games Workshop released the Space Wolves 13th Company army. I built and army, customizing them to be actual wolf men, rather than just simple space vikings. This has made it a bit hard to play in actual tourneys because of the rules lawyers and the nitpickers who say that Space Marines have to be 100% human, so in the past two years, I mostly been playing among friends.

Here's a few examples of my army:

Here's my Wolf Lord. Still haven't gotten around to painting him

My Rune Priest. Crappy paint job. Need to strip and repaint.

This is my Storm Claws pack leader. I'm real proud how this guy turned out.

For something different, I made a female Wulfen.

Here's my Leman Russ mini. I mostly use him as an objective marker.

Here's the Wolf Guard Pack leader of my first Grey Slayers pack.

And since the pic is too big, I'm gonna have to external link it. A couple Terminator marines. Not sure where I'm gonna fit these guys in my army list.

I too took my hand at 40K. Too freakin' expensive. Those guys are rip-off artists.

That's what molding latex and resin (less than $20 for enough to duplicate an army thrice over) is for, my friend. ^_^
