| | | I had been looking at the religion, I had made the choice to accept Satanism as my religion. I got ahold of The Satanic Bible, etc. I don't know. I'll need to look into it more because I'm not the type to just hop into something. If anything, my being Athiest is simply my way of stalling before I make a decision, I guess.
But, yes, those said traits do appeal, obviously. I'm human. ... I'll wind up posting more when I'm not exhausted to the point of near-collapse. This reply alone took me around 15 minutes. G'night, I eagerly await a reply. I think. Final note: Athiesm and Agnostic...ism(?) are two different things, in my understanding.

With Satan, it's always gimmie, gimmie.

| | | Posted by .jer That's true, so very true. It's a pity that I've developed a horrible insomnia problem. I'm so tired, I can't sit upright. Then I go to lay down, and I don't sleep.
| So you're not doing well in this particular avenue of self-indulgence? Pitty. Regardless, back on-topic.. Do you follow LaVey's Satanism? I've seen the Baphomet in your avatar.. Does that represent your religion, I was wondering?
| I read the book as a teenager...speaking of self-indulgence...but haven't picked it up since. As for the Baphomet, it represents something I call The League of Satanic Nations. Its colour scheme may be familiar to you. Its general motif may also be familiar: Red and white stripes. Stars...ring a bell?

| Correct. As you are on a journey of personal spiritual enlightenment, I assume that you haven't entirely closed down the idea of a so-called higher power/intelligence. That would qualify as agnostic...something is there, I don't know what it is yet. In other words, your search/journey continues, filled as ever with unanswered questions. Atheism, on the other hand, puts a period at the end of your journey: I've searched, and I found a void: there's nothing there, there.
