i had to put my cat to sleep today . We had her since I was a baby; she was old and had nothing left to her. But i'm still sad

As a fellow pet lover who has been through the same thing, I know how that feels ali. It's very hard to put them down but it's more merciful than letting them suffer. We had to put our dog down and after 14 great years with her, that really hurt. How old was Cuddles?

Thanks rainman. She was almost 20 yrs old. We had her for a long time; she was healthy for the most part. I can't say that i didn't have enough time with her, but it still sucks.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. We had to put ours to sleep about two months ago, and I still miss her, but it does get better.

I'm sorry, I know how hard it is to have to do that; I've had to see my grandmother's nineteen year old cat, Nikita's cat and now my eighteen year old cat have to go through it, and it's a tough choice to make.
