I had a Genesis...

Why is that a shame? There were a ton of great games for that thing.

I didn't say it was bad, I was just explaining why I didn't have a SNES. Genesis got mortal kombat with the blood.

But Mortal Kombat SUCKED! SF2 was WAY better, and it didn't get all the ridiculous hype from MK's media attention.

I never completed the first Half-life. I played through most then put on cheats when i got stuck, i was just before the final boss, and not realising it when i decided to restart without cheats, and then got bored. D'oh!

Nobody completed Half-Life. They played through half of it, then discovered Counter-Strike or Team Fortress Classic.

Actually there are plenty enemies on the maps. Strategically placed to eff you up at the least unexpected place. Not to mention the ingenious level and boss design.

And it's not just the Sonic games. The Genesis had some really nice games, like Space Harrier 2, Golden Axe 1-3 (gotta import 3, sadly, but the game rocks) a superior port of Zombies Ate My Neighbors, all three Streets of Rage games, anything with the name Shinobi in it, Ristar, Flicky, Wonder Boy in Monster World, superior ports of Aero the Acro-bat 1 and 2, and the list goes on...

Shinobi, yeah I remember them. Shinobi 3 was a kick ass game!

And why doesn't spell check recognize Shinobi?

I don't own it or anything, but I actually wasn't too impressed with the Halo series. It felt like another shoot-'em-up, just with suped-up graphics and sound.

Funny story about BA. My aunt got that game for me when I was 13 (circa 1990) and I used to just toss Moses in the water for the heck of it... and this was years before Seanbaby made his website.

I broke every rule on the "how to care for your cartridge" sticker on Bible Adventures. It ened up bathed in ammonia, cracked, bashed, put in a toaster oven, having a domino melted into it, and finally frozen in a block of ice.

Never did get to see if it worked after that...

Most embarrassing game thingy? Uhm... I guess... I used to pretend that the bosses in TMNT - manhattan project were the bullies that picked on me in highschool.
Oh, and I named all the characters in chrono trigger after people in my life - or lack thereof.
