Oh please, that is such bull shit. You shouldn't post useless advice like that.

Masher, you'd be way better off taking the magnetron of a microwave and hot glueing it to one of your open PCI slots. You can put quarters in the slots to get a better electrical contact between the magnetron and the motherboard.

If you also have access to 220V, I suggest hooking up your hard drive to it. It's gonna spin a like 10000K RPM instead of the crappy 7200 off 12V.

Now we're talkin.

I found a PC like this in the dump before, except it was a name-brand machine. Also had server 2003 enterprise.

This pc is pretty crappy, no offense. If you look in the right places, you'll find some high-quality parts for low-costs.
