OKay well basicly I have two options available to me for my new urbex site. Here they are.
1) Customize a template page to include coppermine = Little work, a lot of thinking, little learning
2) Creat some sort of gallery, that uses no MySQL DB's, or PHP. Possibly make HTML read folders to load content if possible = Lots of work, some thinking, lots of learning and tons of customization.
SO I have these choices. If I got with 2 I would need to know how to make something read content from .txt files and load pictures from folders, with little coding during updates (IE. Place content in a folder and its done). S what should I do?

Number one... definitely is the way you want to go, especially if you want to integrate other objects later.

No PHP, just HTML, Flash, XML, and some javascripting very easy to use and setup.

If you use phpbb, then there are hacks avalible on phpbbhacks.com I think (google it). Tons of mods/hacks, incl. galleries and such.

Well the trouble is, that you would need some sort of database and scripting language to be able to do the things you want to do. I believe there is a PHP only board out there. But you cannot create interactivity using straight HTML. There is flash you can use. But you need to have a dynamic markup language behind it.
