I instinctively did a roll today! I've always been able to roll during a run or something, but today I "creatively jumped" (started to fall and was forced to jump) off of a roof. The problem was my feet landed together turned perpindicular to my method of travel. My only thought was roll, and it came out perfectly.

All that to say, "Thanks parkour!", and you should learn them. better. Including the diagonals, straight sideways, and backwards variants (ask for a walkthrough if you need).

i had the same sort of experience yesterday. I was climbing a parking garage on the outside, and as I came around one of the large concrete pillars, I lost my grip and started to fall back. picked a ledge below, and dropped onto that, bent my knees hard and then dropped again to the ground. It was about 2 levels of parking garage high. But since I had been conditioned w/ parkour, I could handle the mental and physical aspects of the drop. I was unhurt in any way.

I was proud of me.

And thats really cool with the roll. I actually need to practice mine more.I can do them on instinct, but I cant force them.
