haha... the security at acsys was pretty weak, but letting someone sneak a 1000 bricks over a 6 foot high fence unnoticed?... this begs the question though, what would anybody want with so many old bricks?

Probably to sell for their own profit. People would pay good cash for used bricks.

Those thieves are assholes! What a rotten stunt to pull. I'm hoping that the remaining bricks that were taken to a secure location will salvage most if not all the lost cash.

And sneaking 1000 bricks over a 6 foot high fence without damaging it? Sounds like an inside job to me. But what do I know?

I picture they use the same method to move gold bricks

Call me a skeptic but ... 1000 bricks over a fence? That seems a little far-fetched. I really doubt that a few brick thieves were driving by in their Ford Escort and, seeing a pile of bricks hopped the fence, hopped back maybe two to three hundred times, loaded it all up in their little vehicle, and made off.

I think that this was organized and planned. They came with heavy machinery (truck), and probably had keys to the place. It would've taken a group of people to do the work and they would probably need a good reason for making off with a big pile of bricks. I'm betting that it was a construction company in the area.
