Laundromat.

Ahh...I remember it now. I remember when I first became interested in UE. Down the road from my grandparents' house is what, from the road, appears to be just a forest. Hopping over a fence and walking just a few steps reveals a little more. It was a campsite right on the Intercoastal Waterway, the only remnants of which were a dirt road, a collapsing dock, and a dilapidated laundromat. I say were because it's been a long time since I've been back there and the area was and continues to be rapidly developing. I spent many hours on that dock, but what I remember most about it was the laundromat. To get to the dock I had to walk past it, and every time I did, I would look inside the open door and see the rusted washers and dryers and other debris. And I would always shudder and want to hurry past--but I would always linger and let my imagination run..
