Okay fellow Durham UERers. This thread is dead lately, hence Im spicing it up with this idea. How about we organize a ghost tour of local abandoned or historic places one night, and bring cameras, recording devices, etc. Halloween is coming up so whose in? We can even research local lore, legends, and history to spice it up beforehand.

What place do you suggest? Most are either demolished already or behind fences. Cool idea though, count me in.

Yeah, it's best to avoid places with this sign:

Hello Everyone,

Been away for a bit so I was just getting caught up on all the forums and postings and I just read about this ghost hunt, Awesome idea!!
I don't have full member status but if you are looking for extra people I would love to join everyone on this little adventure !?!

I don't know what, if any, the security is like but maybe the Rogers house near Squires Beach? It is so secluded there. It might be interesting??

A neighbour of mine brought up the subject of the Ajax cemetary. I didnt tell him about the fact i might be going there with a group of people to check it out. He told me that a section of the graveyard was all children and he had unusual things happen to him while he was there. the only specific thing he mentioned was that of childrens laughter and voices. I am sharing this info for the benefit of those interested in Indiana's ghost tour idea and not as a beginning point of an argument on the belief or non belief in the paranormal. Any one else come up with more ideas or stories of the area? There is always the Ghost road in Port Perry and yes i know of the studies done to determine the source of the lights. I went once and didnt see anything unusual.Maybe a Salems cemetary ghost road extravaganza!!

Salem road is rich for the unusual. I swear shadow people are around there too. There is a spot near the church where it always gets cold, regardless of the weather conditions.
