Moved to a new house with consolidated 4-pair phone and cat-5 wiring to every room: time to build a com-box in the basement. I'm thinking this would be a great time to put it all together with a bix-blocks set-up, and am wondering where I might get my hands on some gear: any leads for the Toronto area? Thanks...

try anixter or or nedco, they both have outlets in toronto. bix will set you back a lot, as much as i like bix i used 110 blocks insted for the cost savings alone

by the way, if you do go with bix a test proble is always nice to have so you can plug your butt set in anywhere

left the butt set at the last job, but still have some bix clips kicking around. I'll find them somewhere, as far as the rest of the bix gear goes.

i just went to nedco and they had a great counter for bix stuff, the guy tells me there is a nedco counter in toronto

I guess this thread is kinda old, but if you are still looking for bix blocks, I might be able to help you out.

If you want a bix block, just go to any of your neighborhood OPIs and rip one out! (just joking on that one of course! )

Thanks...I ended up ebaying them fairly economically, along with a bix punch. A harder time rounding up a butt-phone, but that will come to pass eventually.

i got a harris t-27 from nedco for 120$ and a bix probe for 15$
