I received this in my e-mail today. Similar to the Nigerian 409 scams, I think I will open a dialogue and fuck with these bastards. Feel free to do you worst.

I saw this on the other board.
The FBI and Treasury are both all over this.
Invoking the name of the armed services prob elevates it above the Nigerian scams.
I will see what I can find out @ work tomorrow.

Dear Mr. Edwards

My heart and Prayers go out to you and all the service men and woman serving. I pray to god you are safe over in Iraq and in good health. I was in Panama and lost the lower half of my leg so I know just how hard things can be. I'm interested in helping you in anyway I can, and would like to hear more from you so we can gain a deeper trust. Currently I'm on vacation with my church group but have reliable internet access. We are in the mountains of Colorado on retreat, I will make sure and say a prayer for you tonight at the campfire, I am doing good, my hemorrhoids are more manageable in the cool mountain air and gods colorado green helps my Glaucoma. Take care Sgt. and I salute you.

I just saw something about scams like these on 20/20. Yah, that sounds like a definate scam, and it doesnt even sound beliveable. I heard of some guy who actually belived one of those scams and went along with it and lost all his retirement savings.
