I will start I guess.

I'm Squidgit, and I have a beautiful daughter with Atomx. She will be 2 in November *shudders*

Her name is Trianna Mae.

She is very bright and loves to scare people lately (even though it's not really scary)

BOO!

She has a fascination with flashlights, maybe she will be future explorer!

Thanks for inviting me, Squidgit. Any parent is always ready to talk about their kids.
I have a three-year-old, his name is Caydn. He loooooves Thomas the Tank Engine. I go to the Thomas website and he can name about 90% of all the different trains. He is a new big-brother and is excited about his new baby brother, Noah.
Here is Caydn:

and here is our newest addition, Noah, born less than a week ago. He is so stinking cute, I can barely stand it!

...and here is one you moms will truly appreciate. This was taken about 10 seconds after he was born:

My wife went C-section both times. Both boys flipped, Caydn the morning after an induced labor, and Noah several weeks before his due-date. Caydn was 8lbs, 6oz, 21" long, and Noah was 7lbs, 6oz, 20" long. I am so friggin proud to say the words, "my boys!"

This is picture taken about a year ago of my 2 babies. Raechelle is 15 and Austin is 9. This is one of my favorite ones of the 2 of them. It was taken while exploring the falls near our home.

We are unique to UER in that we have children. I take that one step more. Raech is my angel that I hug and see every day, she is becoming such a wonderful young woman. Austin is my little angel that I can't hug and see everyday even though I talk to him all the time. Austin passed away from an asthma attack August 16th of this year. He is the most caring and loving little man I have ever known.

I was holding off posting because I did not want to upset anyone but it did not feel right. I would have been the first to post had it been a few months earlier.

Explorer_H, I love the birth photo! Both of your boys are beautiful. I had a water birth at home so I was naked in most of our labor/birth photos...they don't get shown much, LOL.

You know shellyl, I never knew how your son passed away, even when you posted in the Woman's forum.

I had to comment on this because our little girl has asthma... and when Atomx was away, she had a attack during the night.

It was the most scary thing I have ever saw in my life. And I hope it never happen again. (even though I am sure we will go through it again)

thanks pariah, for the nice comments.

I was taken back a bit by the death of your son, Shellyl. I have had asthma since I was about a year old. I have had several scary attacks where it took about 12 hours to gain any relief, and a several day stay in the hospital.
Squidgit, I am sure it was very scary for you. My wife knows that powerless feeling all too well. All I can say is keep your daughter on a good routine of meds, there are many good drugs out there. Shellyl, I have wanted to comment for a while now, but just didn't know quite what to say. I could never imagine losing my son to anything, and having asthma, I know how important it is to see a doctor regularly, and stay on the meds. My oldest shows signs of exercise-induced asthma, and when the air is cold and dry. I have allergy/stress driven asthma. All of this only makes me more aware.

Shellyl,

I cannot fathom the depths of your anguish over the loss of your beautiful son.

Just knowing of this stops me in my tracks. I don't know what to say. Courage? Peace? Strength?

Thanks to all of you. It is hard to know what to say. Keep sharing your babies and all the cuteness. I really enjoy them all.

I'm also a mom on UER. My daughter is nine turning 16 ;-) She enjoys exploring as much as me and I allow her to come as long as it's a low risk location.

This is Amber taken this summer waiting for her ride to her very first camp-out without mom or dad.
