ive been in the market for a new laptop since my compaq evo n600 caught fire. ive been considering new but yesterday a flyer came across my desk from one of those corporate liquidators. I got a dell latitude d600 for 300$ it has a waranty till july and the battery is covered in the dell recall so im getting a free battery too! the thing does everything but make toast and is super thin!

just had to tell you all about it. and for those network admins, IT STILL HAS A COM PORT. cus my phone system doesnt like being programmed via a USB com port
