bloat much? damn. Seems all of MS' software is getting the "Vista" visual treatment. People thought XP was bloated junk when it came out, fuhgeddabout it.

This is true. Although I must admit this is a big step over Office 2k3. The tabbed tool bars is ingenious and the overall usability is much easier. I do wish however, that I could change it to match my start bar but I think I will just have to deal with it. It does look nice after all.

I've been running the beta of Office 2007 for about 3 months now. I'm loving it.

ditto, its good stuff, my only issue with it is that when i do single spacing for my heading/title it always reverts to double spacing. Anyone know how to fix this, ive tried in the paragraph options, but is there another way?

MS won't get no money from me a new office. Ha! I still haven't fully learned how to use the old office. I'll take the 64 bit XP upgrade, but nothing else!

Ok, powerpoint 2007 fucked me over this week, i was working on a project in the pptx format and i tried to convert it to 97-2003 mode so i could view it on my school computers, all it did was freeze my computer half way through the converting.

So i was like fine, ill just get the converter Microsoft offers, I installed that and it starts going and then it also breaks and cant convert my document.

I ended up having to redo my project, so i came to the conclusion i wont be using 2007 until the final release is out.

I'd give at least a year for the hackers to debug it, and to help keep MS a little humble.

You can't use unsigned drivers in Vista, at all. It doesn't warn and ask, it just throws out the option all together. swell.

That's one reason why Vista is so stable. I KNEW there had to be a catch(s).

You can't used unsigned drivers in Vista 64 bit. I'm pretty sure that's not true in 32 bit Vista.

There's a 32 bit Vista? What fun is that? I hope 64 bit XP doesn't behave like that by not accepting unsigned drivers.

basically, 32 bit Vista is the backward compatible Vista. The 64 bit version changes the rules so that things can be secure.

And don't expect to see too many companies making 64 bit signed drivers any time soom.
