A Question

I've just joined this board and lo and behold, I'm having a piercing dilemma. Well not me but my boyfriend.
He had his tongue pierced recently and is ready for a smaller barbell now. Problem is, we can't get it out. Sounds odd, mine twisted right off no problem but his seems to be really on there.

Any ideas?

did you try using rubber gloves? sometimes that helps, but if you can't seem to get it off i would suggest going to a piercing parlor and having them change it for him.

I agree with canadianpsycho17... Going back to a piercer would be the safest idea.

You don't want to cause too much trama by fiddling around with it.

good luck

Yeah, we tried the rubber gloves, no luck. I guess he'll just have to back to the parlour. Thanks for the suggestions!

I always used pliers, but it's easy to wrench things (no pun intended) the wrong way, especially on a new piercing. So if he's not a fan of blood and pain going back to the parlor is probably a good idea.

Actually, he did end up removing it with pliers. *Ick* I'm really glad I didn't see him do it, though.
