Kwanzaa is a holiday for white liberals, not blacks.

Yes, and founded by a sick fuck who enjoys physically torturing women.

What, exactly, does Kwanzaa celebrate, anyhow? I have never been able to figure this out.

Funny you should ask sir!
The seven 'principles' of Kwanzaa are the very same seven principles of the Symbionese Liberation Army, another charming invention of the Least-Great Generation.
In 1974, Patricia Hearst, kidnap victim-cum-SLA revolutionary, posed next to the banner of her alleged captors, a seven-headed cobra.
Each snake head stood for one of the SLA's revolutionary principles:
Umoja (Unity)
Kujichagulia (Self-determination)
Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility)
Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics)
Nia (Purpose)
Kuumba (Creativity)
Imani (Faith)

Have you been listening to Ann Coulter? I'd post a link, but she has too much publicity as it is.

Kwanzaa is one part manufactured ethnic holiday, one part bad Hannukkah ripoff, and one part political correctness. I have never met someone who actually celebrates it.

Well, anybody that does celebrate it needs to be slapped.

I understand the desire for a black holiday during the typical holiday time. But perhaps our black leaders could come up with a celebration that isn't founded by a woman-torturing freak?

And I LOVE Ann Coulter

In the twin cities I actually saw a billboard saying for people to celebrate Kwanzaa. It was possible the strangest sights I have seen in a while and I wish I got a picture of it.

I understand Kwanzaa, I just don't get the point.

If you want to have a holiday that isn't a product of thr religion of your oppressors fine, but I would think there are lots of REAL african religious holidays that would be better that making up something with no real historical or religious basis.

Of course, making up your own stuff did work for L. Ron

And, y'know, not created by a guy that gets off on physically torturing females. That would be good, too.

I'm not sure that many religions hold torturing people against you. We might have to check and see if beating the crap outta people gets you kicked out of.....oh,
Really?
You sure ?
Yeah, beating people into a pulp for your invisible friend is cool with way too many religions to hold that against him.

Yeah, but it's not usually a living dude that was tried and convicted of it in their lifetimes, though. I'd say that calls for special exception.

Hmmm, might have a point there. I'll check with the rules committee

EDIT-After reviewing the data concerning his offence, the rules committee declares he's fucked in the head, but that doesn't disqualify him from starting his own holiday. It just makes one wonder how he pictures the ideals he hopes to instill in it.
