I have a huge box of emblems I've pulled off of cars over the years. I had a series of the 1/48(?) scale cars, but gave most of them to my nephew for christmas a couple of years ago.

at least it's a healthy obsession.

...even if it is misguided... pfft... BMW. Volkswagen. Real cars these are not.

	I've always collected the 1/18s. I have around 20. From the lower priced models, I think Maisto makes the best. They're so well detailed for the price.

	my total collection of mostly 1/18 and some 1/24 comes to 86. I have mostly American iron from throughout the century, including a '48 Tucker Torpedo. Of course I have the compulsory 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster (I want a gullwing), and even an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA. I would agree that Maisto definately rocks, closely followed by the Italian Burago maker. I must give props to Chrono for my '65 Aston Martin DB5; they even inscribed "Superleggera" on either edge of the bonnet lid. I've yet to see another DB5 model with that included...

	I have a 1/24 scale model of a BMW 2002 made by AutoArt (I think)... it's SOOOOO detailed, it has carpet, all the underhood stickers are in place (in the right place, too), and if you lift the carpet up in the trunk, the spare tire, jack and toolkit are in there. It was kind of pricey, but I can look at the thing for hours.
