Where have the good action movies gone? I didn't like this movie so I sat down and wracked my brain for how they could of gone wrong. The plot line started off simple and for the first portion of the movie I was sure it was going to be awesome. A bunch of crazed hit men seeking reward go off to gun down Buddy "Aces" Israel.

However once all of that is established the movie started to stray from what makes a good action movie good. First it did character building. It made you care about people. In effect when guns started blazing you weren't thinking "look at that bad ass weaponry" or "man that guy has awesome moves" but instead you would think "ahhh why did they have to shoot him?"

Then it started up a more detailed and in depth plot line. I thought the simplistic plot line was great so why did they need to bog down the movie with dialogue and intrigue? I wanted to see gun fire and action not dialogue.

In the end I was personally disappointed. I went to see a pointless action movie like "The Predator," "Boondock Saints" and "Diehard." I left with a movie that had the makings of a good action classic but sacrificed good action for an overly complex plot (kind of), character building and long boring dialogue. Well at least the sniper rifle was pretty cool.

What did everyone else think about it?
