Just wanted to bring something up, in case you had never tried it or heard of it.

Its the time of the year for most of us to get at least a little snow. Try going outside and stuffing your bong full, I mean right to the top with snow. I cools and filters the hit, and it is completely different than just cold water.

For those of you who live where there is no snow, try scraping the snow-like ice inside your freezer for the same effect.

To those of you who have been there and done this, my apologies for boring you.

we just got some fresh fluffy white junk today, too!

now i just have to play marijuana mcgyver, and try to figure out how to get a bongfull of snow upstairs after work, without making an extra trip to get a bowl or something to carry it in lol. the only items i will have with me when i leave my car for my apartment will be a 3-ring binder, my coffee mug, my keys, my cell, and my wallet.

now, im no rocket scientist, but it looks to me like i'm making two trips haha.
god im lazy.

Speaking of seasonal techniques:

In the summer, anyone ever eliminate lighters on sunny summer days? I've got a 4" magnifying lens with no frame on it, and i just hold it over the bowl-piece and focus the beam then....3...2...1
Voila!
You now have a nice, conservatively lit pipe, with absolutely NO taste of lighters, matches, or anything like that.

and if you're smoking nice good buds...you will notice a taste difference...blew my mind the first time i tried it, very different!

Sobe Bongs are even better! I love 'em.

I've made snow bongs but it seemed like the hits were weaker (thc = very very sticky substance); or maybe it was just the bud at the bottom of the bag was less quality.

I do this. There are actually a bunch of products out now that use the sun to light your herb. Waste of money when you can just get a lens and do the same thing.

But anyway...yeah, snowbongs rock. You have to do it at least once a winter. Nice and smooth.

THC is by nature quite sticky, but THC is only fat/oil soluble. That's why a bong works how it does in the first place, any carcinogens and most tars and carbons are water soluble so they get stuck in the water and the THC bubbles through to enlighten you.

i much prefer bongs to just about any other smoking apparatus ive used, nice and smooth, annd apparently filters out things that are carcinogenic, so even better.

I'm partial to mixing my weed and shisha and smoking the hookah =)

man....i smoked one of these tonight...i started hallucinating with closed eye visualls...I was about one hit away from passing out i think...it was crazy

Snow bongs are nice. But you gotta be careful not too pack TOO much snow in. Me and my friend did, and we didn't get high at all, lol. We would take a rip, but the snow would turn orange/brown but no smoke would come out. Heh.

Yeah, its that time of the year again, Winter!

Almost nothing better than smoking a bowl and going snowboarding on a nice sunny day.

I want to see if I can pack some snow in my bubbler once it snows a fair amount around here.

Fuck, we had our first snow fall a little while ago and I totally forgot to do a snowbong. Ill have to wait for a fresh snow fall.

Our bong is built for ice...so we have just been using snow instead of ice since we had snow last week. Definitely better.

I wanted to this weekend with my friends bong, but they just said that was gay...and wouldn't even try it, but still just loaded it with ice anyway.

I loaded my mini lux up w/ snow the other day.
the erkle was that much better.
