I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their views.

Police: Man was drunk, driving ATV and holding baby when wreck happened
A 9-month-old boy was injured when he was thrown from an ATV that was being operated by a man who was drunk, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, police said.
Police said Sergio Espinosa, 21, was holding the baby and riding the ATV on a city street when he lost control and wrecked.
The baby flew out of Espinosa's arms and landed on the pavement, police said.
Both were taken to Titus Regional Medical Center. Their injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
Espinosa faces charges of felony injury to a child, driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.
