drugs aren't bad, per se... i've was young once, too.
but what is bad, regardless of what you think, is dedicating too much time to them. I mean, weed is great, mellows you out, but when you start fucking with your mind, the brain chemistry that makes up you mind, etc, well what is that? That's a recipe for turning yourself into a turnip. You follow me?

I'm not going to lecture anyone about drugs, all i'm saying is watch your ass. You're a young guy, not you know, 'experienced'... i mean, at this point, I think your use is experimental if not downright academic.

What's funny is once I turned 20-21 or so and had to start worrying about passing drug tests to get a job, getting high just erased itself from my menu of activities. I look at all my friends who are stoners and they work menial, dead end jobs because they'd rather do that than give up their shit.

I just find that odd.
And my post was in reference to being in New York. I hate this fucking place.

I agree, you need to focus on your life and not just drugs. I enjoy some shrooms every once and a while, but its been a long time. I am focused on my future. College and looking for jobs etc. Drugs don't have to fuck up your chances. You just need to make sure you focus on what is important. Sometimes the drugs even help out with school.

And it sucks that everyone piss tests you now. I can understand getting tested somewhere where it really is your life on the line. But having to piss in a cup for a fast food joint is crazy. But as long as your place of employment doesn't conduct random drug testing, you are fine. That is what synthetic urine is for.

Where I work does do random drug testing... you could come in on 11-7 and there would be a message for you to head out to the nurses offices...

When i lived in Tennessee, the attendant/nurse/whatever would go in the crapper WITH YOU... watch you actually piss in the cup. (!!!!) that was freaky.

I think the smell of NY is fucking enough. Urgh
