From what I heard March 20th is when it's out in the US, I plan on doing whatever is in my power to find a copy.. Which is doubtful will be hard....

Hmmm, probably not going to be able to get it that soon. I first have to get my new monitor and possibly a new speaker system/sound card. Monitor is funded, but we are looking at 500 for a decent audio setup.

Definitely real. I read through the developer diaries that had some sweet pictures of Pripjat from when they went to the Ukraine to do research into the region.

Yeah I just checked the minimum requirements and I don't make the cut. Though I'm on a laptop.......

Anyways the game has been delayed in production so many times and talked about for so many years that it seemed to be going the path of Duke Nukem Forever or Starcraft Ghost Recon.

That news post in its self, was sort of vague.

Originally the game was supposed to be a FPS with a ton of RPG elements built in, but unfortunately they had to cut out most of the RPG elements due to time restraints.

Yeah, I'm expecting something like FEAR, but without the slo-mo effects and creepy dream sequences and that little girl that I see EVERY TIME I CLOSE MY EYES.

Well its March 16, so we will see.

They have empty boxes in the EB Games stores in the pre-order section. I'm still going to try and play it, if it doesn't work on my computer I'll see if I can use my brothers.

Actually, I do support indie developers. I'm a poor college student, but as soon as I can afford a game, I purchase a legit copy. However, I can't afford to be buying every game out there, and by downloading a game I can try it out and see whether I really do want to spend what money I do have on it. Also, it's a great way to play the game before it's actually released.

As odd as that seems, that's actually part of my cost for college. I'm majoring in game design and development, and we're starting to develop in DirectX 10, and I need to upgrade my own equipment to be usable with it. $10k is more the cost of everything I'd like to have in the machine eventually, but it's still going to cost me about $5k-$6k for the initial setup. This is also the part of the reason why I am a poor college student. I've been hoarding money for about 2 years for this new computer.
