Yes, it is. The left lane is for passing and once done passing, to return to the right lane. It is not, despite what the frick people think, a speeding lane. The speed limit is the same in ALL lanes.

I have no problem with 2 lanes highways. I understand the situation there... but 3 or 4 lane highways. And after all passing who?!? if like you said everyone doing the same speed.? And they are not passing they just sitting in the lane doing 100km/h even when right lane is empty. So get a fuck off the lane or you will get mooned

Don't think I'm a maniac of some kind. I respect another motorists on a road. As long as they pay attention whats going on around them. There are not so many lane hoggers like it used to be. But sometimes they are really pissing me off.

Actually there is a road law against people who is causing this sort of troubles on the road. You have to go with a flow of traffic. If everyone in the lane goes 110 and you are doing 90...you're causing danger to other people.

Only if the speed limit is 100. Despite everyone going 110, if 100 is the speed limit and you're 'impeding' traffic by going the speed limit, there's no fault. It's everyone that's going 110 that is breaking the law.

Of course, this would only actually apply if the speed limit was strictly enforced, so carry on.

Don't even start there. I'm behind the wheel for about 10 or so years. For 5 years I was deeply involved in car racing. And even with that training If someone calls me I get distracted. I can feel it. I start to wave and ignore white lines. In heavy traffic I break much later then I should.

I fucking hate driving around the three-lane highways here in Rochester and just having 3 cars in front of me, one in each lane, each going EXACTLY the same speed and staying parallel. Someone fucking grow a pair and pass so I don't have to sit behind your slow asses!

Yeah, it's the same way in Michigan, whether the highway is two, three, or four-laned. You can try flashing your brights at someone and once in a while they will pull over (or get pissed off and speed up by about 15mph) but usually they just don't notice.

I loathe people who accelerate so slowly that you would think they had some prior knowledge that the light wouldn't turn red again.... IS IT THAT FUCKING HARD TO PUT THE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR FOR A FEW SECONDS so those of us third in line don't have to wait for the light to turn green 2 more times before we can get through it.....

But yeah, I hate self-righteous lane hoggers that believe that they can't go a few miles an hour faster than the limit in the left lane and therefore nobody else should be allowed to.
