ah good ol yashica

I am always astounded at the clarity of results obtained from the Yashica. I have a 124G put away, awaiting for the day I can no longer buy Polaroid film. Such a nice machine to use...

Good thread topic.

Mine is a calumet wood field (basically a re-branded, more expensive version of a tachihara)

See it in action below.

HA! That's the pic of the "Elusive Double-fisted Tunnelbug"! If you look closely to the right...you can see your "ghost" from when you walked into the frame when I was exposing. That's a classic shot... goes to show how hard-code you on the photography (and how "on the fence" you are about which camera to commit to! )

That pic that Ryan took of you "hooded" is a crack up... You need to get a black drape for that Tachi of yours!

HA! I finally did in Denver. When I went to meet lexiphoto, imprez, et al. I bought a hood at a local camera shop for 50 cents! Can you believe that! 50 fucking cents for a hood!

I was elated.

By the way, hey, are you going to Masonite?

I don't have a scanner right now, so I haven't uploaded any photos yet. I am glad to see I am not the only one to run around with a Graflex.

A new beast well kinda, I have a Mamiya RB 67 on loan for 2 months from my uni, with a 50mm 4.5 and a 90mm. I also have 4 rolls of Velvia 50 arriving tomorrow, life could not get better.

I had a Mamiya 645 1000S but traded it for the 67 cause I had too many problems with the shutter curtain springs.

I rarely use the limited edition one. I do use the other RB a lot more, but not as much as I'd like. It's a blast to use though. I want a 45mm for it badly!

What no hasselblads?

I shoot a Hasselblad 501CM and a Pentacon Six TL. A few others I have laying around the house, but don't really use them at all.

Love the Hasselblads. Mine are listed up above. Just got a 50mm Distagon for my 500 too, so I can't wait for school to let out and give me some time to test it.

On the other hand, I don't use the Hasselblads near as much as I used to. I started to use the Graflex more and more because of the movements that are available. I'm getting sick of seeing buildings falling in on themselves and like the ability to correct the perspective. Hasselblad made a shift lens, but it is damn expensive and doesn't have the full movements.

My new toy:

I haven't used film since ~95 so this will be interesting. And even then it was just 35mm P&S stuff.

Have gone through about half a roll so far, hoping to get some UEing with it done soon.

It's nice to see all your weapons. I used mostly an RB67 too. 35mm doesn't hold enough detail for my taste, and my 4x5 is too bulky. The RB is an amazing piece of camera. I just love everything of it (even the weight)!
