Very nice lens. I'm definitely interested to hear how focusing goes in a darker abandonment.

I am no fan, but I know many are, so I will say that Urban Outfitters have Holga's on sale for $9.99. I bought one for my cousin. I contemplated buying one for myself, but I just couldn't.

From Cincinnati's favorite brewery:

Looks like that holder may have a small light leak, or I could have just gotten some flare.

Flare is very easy with a Super Angulon F8, esp. with the wider end of the lens. You said you had a 90? I have a 70, and I ALWAYs get flare, no matter how hard I try to avoid it. Pretty sure it's not a light leak, because it's in a different place every time.

I originally thought it was flare, but after reviewing my log sheet I realized that I have a couple holders that leak. Its not real pronounced in that photograph because I (failed at) cloning it out. The old 90mm Super Anglulons are actually very good with handling flare, even for not being multicoated.

Yokes, its not a bad road at all. Enjoy your new camera and the great images you get out of it.

Sweet! A Graphic was my first 4x5. Awesome cameras, super portable. I will warn you now, you'll probably get frustrated at the lack of movements though. I ended up taking the Back and Bellows off of my Speed Graphic and building a rail-less folding camera to get more flexibility.

To start, I'm sure I'll use it more like an SLR, and not take advantage of many movements (while learning how to use the damn thing and just just something in focus). In time, I'm sure you're right though.

Looks good. I've always been tempted to pick up one of those, but always had doubts about how well they'd perform given the age of some models. I always pictured something breaking or locking up on me.

I also figured it would be a big PITA to have to use in low-light conditions.
