I suspect it will be a pain in the ass for low light. This one has a 4.7 lens, which is pretty bright.

Mine seems to be in perfect, or near perfect, shape. I'm pretty impressed, actually. Certainly not bad for $230.

Only downsides so far that I've noted with the Crown Graphic is that it has a non-rotating back and that (I'm told) the lens has a small image circle so movements are somewhat restricted. But I think it will be a good learner camera for now.

Yeah, $230 sounds like a steal. Can I ask where you purchased it?

Just ebay. Came with a small stack of film holders as well.

Yokes, I've never used readyloads or anything like that. Just regular cut film holders.

How do you like your Yashica? I've been looking into those recently.

I love the Yashica. When I wanted to get into medium format I was very torn on getting a Hasseelblad 500cm or a Rolleiflex 2.8F. I ended up getting the Hassey and had some money left over so I got the Yashica at the same time. I loved the TLR so much it ended up being the only one I used- so I sold the Hassey.

Here are some examples with it-

I love the Yashica.

I love mine too, but it sits in storage waiting for the last of my Polaroid film to disappear. She then gets to see the light of day...

Enjoy! Neko.
