ya wanna know what really pisses me off? its when I hear about how women have almost no rights in some Arab countries! In Pakistan, an uncle sold his niece into marriage to pay his gambling debts! I think I heard once that in one country, a woman has to have permission from her husband before she can get life saving surgery. And the men use Islam as an excuse to beat their wives! I don't think Islam is a bad religion in its pure form, but people twist and warp it to satisfy their own selfish needs. One reason why I am glad about the war is that women finally got the right to vote in Iraq And what about those "honor killings"? if a woman gets cheats on her spouse or even gets raped, she might get killed by her family to 'protect their honor'. but that doesn't happen to men. they can cheat and rape without getting in trouble. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all middle eastern men are bad, some of them might actually support womens' rights, but they probally do it in secret so as not to get harrassed.

A guy comes home from work. His wife of ten years greets him in the kitchen and says, "I'm not happy. I want a divorce and I want you to move out as soon as possible."

Either he leaves, or he is removed. Period.

That's women's rights, baby.

what always killed me was spandex- it's a privilege, not a right.

Also, have you ever see the uber-fat ladies in the supermarket with the stretchy pants. There is a reason that Oreos and other cookie foods are at boob level... Say the women (or men, let's be real) bend over to reach said cookie food and their pants reach critical tension and rip? The resulting shockwave from the sudden release of all that energy could kill someone, let alone destroy several aisles worth of merchandise.

Wait, you kicked a guy in the balls because he said women are wussies? Is there a smiley for shaking your head and walking away?

What women don't understand is that equal rights should mean equal consequences. Example: Women don't get drafted. (and don't feed me that "but men can't have children" shit. Without us, you would be drafted.)

Another example that both parties are guilty of (although its mostly women than men):

A guy works his ass off for 20 years to get where he is. He has a nice house, car, life, etc. Then, his wife of 5 years, decides she is going to get a divorce and that she "deserves" half... what the fuck?

BIG FUCKING DEAL.
so you can have a baby.
so can a dog.
a cat.
a big fat rat.

its part of life and you women make this ENORMOUS DEAL OUT OF IT!
don't want babies? don't fuck. It's a simple equation.
I am sick and fucking tired about womens rights out of one side of the mouth and then 'oh well i can't do that, i'm a woman' out the other.

One or the other, ladies. one or the other.

All those wars are useless. People will be people with their traditions. Only Atatürk was able to turn Turkey into somewhat civilized country. And he was a cruel man. I mean really cruel one. Majority of things in Mid East are Traditions. Islam is just a part of those things. Again wars are useless in the term of more freedom to women. What we need to do is to broadcast 24 hour porn on Middle East. Plus drop loads of tapes CDs and DVDs on the cities. You will see all the problems disappear in couple of years.

This is exactly why women shouldn't have rights. They don't even know what they are:

Yes, I think women should have the same consequences as men, but also the same oppertunites. And what you said about a guy working his ass off and the woman wants half when they divorce, Yes it is crap when the woman thinks she "deserves" half of it when she didn't earn it. You don't know this about me, but when girls at my school put down boys by saying there lazy or stupid, yea that makes me pissed also. Sexism against girls OR guys is bad. I hope that sums it up. If you have any more questions, or you just want to yell at me, PM me so no one gets banned for arguing.

A woman comes home from work and greets her husband of ten years in the kitchen. She turns to the man who's stayed at home to raise the kids, sacrificing his career so that she may advance hers, and as he's preparing dinner as part of the ongoing ritual of their domestic meal-sharing, she says, "Honey, I'm not happy. I want a divorce and I want you to move out as soon as possible."

Either he leaves, or he is removed. Period.

That's women's rights, baby.
