Since most of the obvious locations have been explored and documented thoroughly
I have taken to venturing deeper into the woods and down pathways in search of some forgotten gems
Although i have yet to hit pay dirt and find fantastic locations, i have come across a few worth documenting. The latest location is well off the beaten path. I found it while exploring topo maps and decided to pay a visit in person.
It is very near to the Long Sault conservation area which makes it a stones throw from the Cabin in the woods

The new long sault location consists mainly of ruins but there are still some barns and kilns as well that are standing.

Thanks, I know they are not spectacular finds but waltzing thru the woods trying to find these places is fun to do.
I usually draw a crude map from the topo maps on the computer and so far it has worked.
I have a few more places i want to check out but the bugs are starting to get bad and i only have so much blood to give
